All my other phones now use nano SIM... :(

Since you're on Verizon, I'd suggest just going to a store and getting a new one. That's what I did and was able to get it at no charge. I just told them the phone was on order and would need a SIM, and wanted to have one ahead of time to install at my leisure. Which was true, because I can't always make it to my store before closing. When the phone came in, I swapped SIMs before booting and made the device switch online. It was pretty easy to do.

Amazing they would give you a SIM at the Verizon Wireless Corporate stores as I tried and they said I needed to bring the phone in first. The online reps have no problems shipping a SIM free of charge except they kept sending MicroSims instead of Nano Sims.

As for nano-to-micro SIM adapters, the MediaDevil SimDevil is supposedly good and popular...

He initially wanted the phone there until I explained my issue. Then he just grabbed one from the drawer and told me to have a nice day. I've seen other people post about the corporate stores giving a free one too.

Granted, I was fully prepared to pay for it. I wasn't trying to get it free when I explained the situation, only explaining why I wanted one to take with me. It was the associate that took it upon himself to make that offer.

I use the above MediaDevil kit, no issues.
I agree that corp stores are way too stingy with SIM cards.

I was able to get NanoSims as I have 5 here actually.... two came with the Motorola Droid Maxx that they sent when warranty replacements for the Motorola Droid RAZR HD Maxx was no longer available so those were already in the phone and even though I returned the phone, level 2 support said I can keep the sims. With each phone, they also sent another new NanoSim in the folder that was still shrink wrapped so it has the bigger card that you break the nanoSim out of. On one of the phones, they sent 2 of the shrink wrapped ones. Maybe it's just the corporate stores in San Francisco that are jerks because when I needed a NFC MicroSim for the Motorola Droid RAZR HD Maxx, it came with a non-NFC originally, the guy gave me a new one but even after he installed it, he was like asking all sorts of account questions. One thing I noticed is it seems like even with the same PRL, the SIM can make the phone perform differently in holding a 4G LTE signal and switching to 3G.

SIMs are free at any Verizon Wireless Corporate Store so they can't charge you for it, the only thing they charge for is activation.

I use this one. I have a couple of extras. They work very well with every device I've owned. uploadfromtaptalk1447161181656.jpg
