Is there a limit to the number of characters allowed in a Q?

Obviously my last Q got chopped off despite my eliminating a few words. Since I didn't feel like re-typing the entire Q I just left it as is.

If there is a character limit, what is it specifically?

This is the first time ive ever encountered this.
