is there a really good protective case for S9+

Anyone have any recommendations for really good phone cases for S9+ that aren't rubber or silicone like the Otterbox Defender case? That comes in a purple color? (Because purple is my favorite color) And is still good at protecting the phone. It feels weird to not have a popsocket on the case when I'm use to having one now.

I just found out that the popsocket isn't staying on my Otterbox Defender case because of what the case is made out of.

If you want protection against drops (and worse - one of mine actually got thrown against a wall screen-first), you want TPU (it's not rubber), and the Otterbox is about the best there is. I've had all my phones in one and now, as I'm getting older, and my hands are drier and less flexible, I find myself dropping a phone here and there. And I have to wipe off the concrete dust once in a while. 3-4 feet onto a concrete driveway with pebbles in the mix - and it just gets dirty.

I've tried other cases. Some of them are pretty decent. (The Cuvrware for the S9+ is cheap, it's not as good as the Otterbox, but it's good, and it's a lot cheaper. And it comes with a glass screen protector. But the shockproofing is still TPU [thermoplastic polyurethane].)

I found one that has that.. actually. before I read this. I bought one and received it last Friday. It's a Caseology Legion case. And the description does say it has TPU.

Plus, I placed a pop socket on it.

Otterbox is the one you need

Oddly enough, Otterbox Customer service replied to a tweet I had going with my friend. Because we were talking about Otterbox but I don't think we tagged / or mentioned Otterbox.

Otterbox Customer service twitter replied about a week or two after my friend & I were having the conversation. They suggested a Symmetry case.
