Is there a Settings change that allows internet access when WiFi is connected to a Camera?

I have 4G coverage. I am using WiFi to connect to a Dash Cam. While connected to the Dash Cam, I cannot connect to the internet. Is there a setting that forces Chrome to go to 4G when WiFi is connected to a non-internet device?

Have you tried starting Chrome when the only connection you have is 4G, then connecting to the camera? That might cause Chrome to keep using mobile data. The phone really shouldn't be seeing the dash cam as a source of internet (which is what's happening - anything connected to the phone's internet transceiver is considered to be a router).

Yes. I started Chrome with WiFi turned off, got an "updating" web page going, then go into settings & connect to the camera. Chrome knows to keep using 4G.

Wonder if there is a setting in Chrome to only use 4G.

I've used mine to connect to my GoPro via WiFi, shoot a video clip and then download it to the phone and send via Instagram without disconnecting from the GoPro WiFi.

@gernertti ... How do you get to instagram? Is there an instagram app or do you go through a web browser? Did you change any settings to use the GoPRo WiFi?

I just tried to get on Facebook with the App while connected to the camera, nada. Now I am wondering if it's the App for the camera! I have a different camera coming in on Monday that uses a different App.

Blueskysea B1W. The App is made for this camera, so it could be all App. I will know tomorrow. I have a different camera coming that uses "open source" type Apps.
