Is there a way to add an app button to my home screen?

I have just gotten a Moto G Power. I am coming to this phone from previously using a Samsung S6 Active and a Sony Xperia XA1 as my 2 previous devices. I really like having a button to access the apps I don't use often. Is that something I can add with this phone? I hate the swipe up and disabled it on both of my Samsung tablets.

Welcome to Android Central! @Javier P might have some insight on Moto's launcher, but if the launcher doesn't give you the option, then you could always install a 3rd party launcher like Nova.

Welcome to the forums. I couldn't find that option in my wife's Moto G running Android 10. I think you'd need a custom launcher or a shortcut creator.

I don't know about a button, but you can use folders in the app drawer to organize/hide your app icons.
