Is there a way to change colors in the email app?

The orange of the email app is just ugly. Is there a way to change it? I tried to within the app but couldn't find anything.

For the lettered name icons it should take the colors from your contacts, which I believe are editable via Google messenger but not sure if that works on 2013. The yellowish orange of the app theme is not changeable.

Well that's a bummer about the orange. The letter icons are not the same color as they are in my contacts.

You may prefer gmail better. It works with exchange, etc.
