Is there a way to put Dinc on silent quickly?

If I am going into a meeting, is there a way to put the phone on silent quickly? On my DX I just turn the volume down to its lowest level and it goes into vibrate mode.

Yeah. I either do that or hold the power button for the menu. You can use the volume changer to change it to silent or vibrate. Same with the menu that pops up when you hold the power/top button.

Oh Ok just got it and charged up and did not know that it acted the same way to put it on silent. That goes for notifications also?

I would expect it to work almost identically to your X. I'm on 2.2 and in that you need to manually set your notifications to be the same volume as the ringer. If you are still on 2.1, the notifications should be the same as the ringer by default.

HTC has also included a widget for this in Sense on the Incredible.

Add widget > Settings > Profile
If it's not there, at the top of Add widget, select "Get more HTC widgets" > menu key and select to download more HTC widgets.
