Is there a way to set quiet time for certain notifications?

+1 for Silent Time. I just set a few exceptions that CAN ring through at night in case there is an emergency.

If you use the app Juice Defender it will turn off your mobile data when your phone is idle, which will suppress your email, FB, and other notifications, but leaves on your phone signal for calls and texts.

Dunno if that helps your issue or not, but it works for me.

Its called "Blocking Mode"...I don't have Jelly Bean so idk where it is but it should be there

Thanks, very helpful. BTW the blocking screen is under Sound settings, not About Device. But the tip is MUCH appreciated. My wife thanks you too.

You can download Quiet fo Gmail if you want to disable email notifications on a schedule and you are using the Gmail app.
