Is there a way to trick the Market into thinking the Nook is a tablet?

Is there a way to have the Nook report itself as an Android tablet to the market so we can install more apps from there? It has to be sending some kind of data id reporting what device it is and I am sure that can be changed.

I seem to be having a hard time more and more with the market not seeing the Nook as compatible. I can't install many apps from the web or don't see the apps from the market app.

Is there a way to trick the Market into thinking the Nook is a tablet?

Having only owned a NC for 15 hours, I could be wrong here.

But I think all the builds (even the HC ones) use Gingerbread api's and have the build.prop ID them as either a Nexus One or Droid to the market. What you (and I) want will probably have to wait for the release of the 3.0 source code

Yeah, it uses API 10, which is the same as 2.3.3. Waiting for 3.0 source. What's the limit. Is it something like it must be released within 30 days of the first product? We're about halfway into that.
