is there a way to turn off flash?

flash is great and all when you want to use it but my browser is a lot slower after the udpate b/c its loading flash i don't care about.

i also find a window is not usable for normal browsing after loading a flash heavy page, i need to close the window and load a new one in order for my next page to load.

i'd love to be able to turn flash on when i want to view a flash video or flash site.

I use on demand. That way you have to click to start the flash content.

browser > Menu > More > Settings > Enable Plugins > On Demand

i'm not impressed with the browser on 2.2...

def a lot slower the whole web exp is slow and disjointed.

My browser is much faster as long as Flash is off or On Demand...I use it on WiFi...I have noticed that 3G isn't as quick as it was before. Now on 4G it is awesome.

now that i turned it off i am seeing improvements. but flash on 3g cripples the browser.

bro are you really effing serious? i effing hate apple i think the iphone and the whole company is god dam joke, i am not here trolling for apple.. i am expressing god dam concerns..

Actually full discloser..I have an iPhone 4 also. That is because I am a Dev and bought a Evo so I can start working on some Apps.

PS Flash runs much better then I was expecting..now my iPhone feel vacant. Also I don't get paid by Steve.
