Is there a way to turn off my S6 Edge without using the power button?

is there a way to turn off my s6 edge without using the power button?

I was sitting on the toilet when my phone slipped and fell in the water (vertically) i took it out after 2-3 seconds and tried to turn it off but the power button didn't work. so i just put it in some rice and left it near a heater. is there a way to turn it off without the power button??

Welcome to the forums. Not that I am aware of. The closest alternate I can think of is ADB commands can reboot the device, but as far as I know, not power down.

If you mean turn off the screen, you can use screen off and lock or similar from the play store to turn off the screen.

This won't shut off the phone though.. I would imagine you would not want to do that since the power button does not work

i'm not having problems with the power button but i am using this app since 2014,it puts an icon on the homescreen ,the screen will turn off by pressing it,i'm not using the power button at all,i'm waking the device with the home button
