is there a way to unlock my Verizon v10 for free?

Switching to AT&T and there is a chance I can keep my V10. Going to surrender my Galaxy s4 and hope that's OK for them to buy me out of Verizon. If it is.... I'll have my v10 and an AT&T note 7

ASI don't think you need to as it's already unlocked Device Unlocking Policy | About Verizon

Read the terms, the phone that is traded in must be the smartphone on the line that is ported. The device traded in also has to have a value of at least $10, the 32 GB Verizon S4 has a value of $0.
