Is there a way with Textra to reply to a text and keep the notification in the shade?

With YAATA, you can reply to a text and keep the notification in the shade, which I find very convenient. Is there a way to do the same in Textra?

There's an option in Settings - Customize Notifications - Define Notification Actions, that says "Auto Close Quick Reply. Don't auto close after send, so you can continue to chat (to close, swipe Quick Reply to the right)". It sounds as if it's I want, but it doeant make a difference if I toggle this on or off, it always behaves the same way, which is going away after a reply.

To the best of my knowledge, Textra will always remove the notification after you interact with it.
I thought there was an option to mark a thread as unread, but I cannot find such an option.
