Hello all,

First, I am a minister, not a programmer...after spending nearly three days trying to install and configure several different Android applications on my PC, getting the JDK and everything else up and running without errors, I am ready to ask for help from the expert community. Which is another way of stating that I have given up trying to create this app myself and would like to find one I can use.

So, here's what I'm looking for: I would like an Android app, suitable for my Android (Samsung) smartphone, that is capable of having me enter text (Bible verses) and recall them either by word searches or Bible verses. I want this to use for myself and I need the application to be able to hold hundreds of verses. I believe my new Galaxy Note 4 is running on Android 4.4 - does that sound right?

Does anyone know of anything like this? I appreciate your help!

I suggest that you go to the Play Store and put bible in the search box. Different Bible apps have various kind of search capabilities. (They all have the entire OT and NT already entered.)

Hi Rukbat - I have many Bible apps that offer special capabilities, but what I'm looking for is an app that allows me to place verses in that I have annotated and use frequently. I know it may sound odd, but I really have tried to use the regular Bible apps, but I just don't need all the functionality of that type of app.
