That when i touch the screen, pending i dont have it locked.....that will activate the screen or the phone so hitting the top button is not neccessary????

No there is not an app for that. (xD)

It is a "pre-caution" so you don't put the phone in your pocket & it will start using your phone.

Yet, you can "root" your phone & get the optical joystick to turn on your phone.

I prefer MixZing over the stock music app. It has an equalizer, it's quicker, you can edit MP3 tags, get artist info, and it has a bunch more features. It's a bit expensive for the ad-free version, but worth it to support the developers.
