Is there an easy way to revert to stock icons?

I flashed a custom theme and now i want my google icons back, can i do that without having to wipe data/cache? Are the new icons just symlinks or did they overwrite the official google icons?

Yes but i don't want to lose all the progress i've made either

you could always download the original icons in an apk. file somewhere and use better cut or folder organizer to change them. also might be able to find icons closely related to sotck in an icon pack in the market... i use better cut to change all my icons...
