Is there anywhere other than Google play store I can download films in the UK

Hi, I'm new here, the Nexus 7 is my first device, I've never even had a smart phone or anything. I live in a remote area in the UK so wifi connections can be a bit hit and miss. I would like to download a couple of films when I've got a decent connection to watch when I haven't. I know on Google play store I can rent films and opt to download them to watch offline, just wondered if there is anywhere else that gives this option?

You will soon be able to download BBC Television programmes to watch offline via a new BBC iPlayer app, as yet to be released.

Thanks, I will keep a look out for that app. All the movie websites like Netflix, LoveFilm etc seem to be for live streaming only, Google Play Store doesn't seem to have that many films really, but I guess it will keep me going for now.
