Is there ever going to be a fix for the T-Mobile LG G3 wifi calling

I recently bought a brand new LG G3 unopened out of the box for my Tmobile phone and when I connected it to my Wi-Fi and did all the necessary updates I started getting an error message which also prevents me from making Wi-Fi calls. I tried contacting T-Mobile and they have yet to answer me back on a solution as well as I tried to contact LG and that didn't go so well either. So I wanted to know who is or will there be any update to fix the problem with Wi-Fi calling for tmobile carriers using LG devices?

If your new phone has Marshmallow 6.0.1 operating system there is a wi fi problem with this new operating system.
Go to your settings then about phone and see what version you have. It may be 6.0.1
There should be a patch coming out to fix this problem but who knows when
