Hi all,
Since a few weeks ago I've been noticing some odd behavior with my Galaxy S5. I'm not sure if it coincides with an update I got or something (I'm an AT&T user), but it sure as hell is annoying. When I try to return to the home screen from a number of different apps (messaging, gallery, news apps, etc) this web search app pops up that seems like it would go through Yahoo. When I look at all the apps I have open, the search app seems to be called "Firefox Search". I can't find a way to delete the "app", and several Google searches have yielded nothing. I'm willing to wipe my phone if necessary, as I'm not keen on my info being stolen, but I'd rather just outsmart whatever malevolent douchecanoe came up with this malware.
I would post a screenshot of the app, but I'm a brand new user and therefore not to be trusted.
