Is This Phone Too Big?

So i'm thinking of buying the htc one specifically the google play edition of the phone. I recently sold my Galaxy Note 2 because the phone was simply to big, although it was nice to browse the web and play games with such a nice big screen, it felt uncomfortable in my pocket. I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy Nexus as my backup phone which to me is a great phone size to me. I just don't want to make the mistake of buying another smartphone that will be uncomfortable and feel comfortable to hold to your ear. So what do you all think?

I think this is the perfect size for me!

I'm coming from the 4.3 inch evo 3D, and I think the one is the perfect size for a smartphone.

I'm on the S4 Active, and my wife's on the One. On my phone I have a little trouble using it with one hand; like when trying hitting icons on the edges of the screen with my thumb. But on the One I'm able to reach to the other side, albiet with a little stretching. If you're using a GNex then I don't think you'll have a problem, just make sure to get a slim case. Although you'll miss that right side power button, because having it on top is annoying.

The HTC one will be way more comfortable to hold and honestly the 5" range phones are the best in size.

The phone's definitely much smaller than the Note 2, and imo this phone is a good size. I have big hands and long fingers, so the phone's screen works well for me. Moving back to an iPhone 3GS/4S, after using the One for a couple of weeks, made me feel like the 4S's screen is too cramped. I'm enjoying the big screen.

Also, I wish Android apps were designed keeping big phones in mind. I hate that all (most) android apps are designed similar to iPhone apps with some buttons at the top corners of the screen. These buttons are sometimes hard to press, and require sliding my hand around the back of the phone to reach them.

Great sized phone in my opinion. Plus the shape makes it very comfortable in the pocket. There is also the option for the mini htc one but i really think the 4.7 in is perfect

This!

I think the phone is a good size but for me and my hands it is verging on being too big, but only when I have to stretch my thumb to the top of the screen to hit menu buttons that could just as easily be at the bottom of an app.

HTC One is still awesome though.

I was really looking to get the HTC One Max when it launches in a month or two, but decided the current HTC One is ideal for my daily use and I will simply pick up a Nexus 7 tablet for some of the other productivity needs like games, web, etc. I find it perfect for phone use, email, web, etc and I have the Mophie Juice Pack on it as well.

It seems great to me :).

I hate that it has too big of bezels. That's the only thing I dislike.. Other than that the screen size is awesome.. Still comfortable. I've played with some at work and it was a good size

Go try it out at a store. I talk around 3000 minutes a month and don't use a headset, so it's fine for me.

The size shouldn't even be compared to a Note, in my honest opinion, because the One is much smaller, thinner and I feel like it has a much better grip. The Note and similar 'phablets' are just way too big, in my opinion.

i'm still using a 3 inch phone. and its a bit small but ok
the size of the galaxy nexus is a bit big for me but great

This was the only thing I was afraid of before buying the HTC one. I must say I am pleasantly surprised :-)
