Is this possible?

I am pretty sure this isn't possible but I thought I would ask, just in case.
Is there a way to add widgets? I would love to be able to scroll through, have my my wifes picture come up and then touch to direct dial.
It would be handy when I am driving and have the call come through my BT system without having to pull my phone out to dial.
I know I can scroll to my favorites but would love a picture widget.

Thank you. Please forgive me but I have never Rooted anything so this might be dumb questions.
This is to Root my Gear correct? Do I have to have my phone rooted also? Do I have to be using NOVALAUNCHER on my phone also? I use Next Launcher on my phone and don't want to change.

no i don't think the launcher or any of the rom affects your phone. its a custom rom for the gear itself. i'd love to give you more details but haven't done this process yet.....maybe when i have more time over the holiday. the forum on xda might give you more answers, but sometimes i find they all talk over my head i'm a newbie to roms and such but want bluetooth tethering and access to the internet on my gear pretty bad.
