I used to have Motorola Razr (remember the state of the art phone no so long ago
) with AT&T and about a couple of months back I upgraded to Samsung Focus running WP7. I used it a couple of months and it was pretty good, but the lack of choices in Windows 7 marketplace was a big bummer. And then Costco offered (still offering) HTC Inspire 4G for only $20 for upgrades, and since I was still within 90 day period, I jumped on the opportunity and got it replaced.
I love the phone, its speed, combined with 4G speeds of over 2Mbps that I am getting, it is awesome. The only issue is that this thing is dropping calls really bad. At my work, although some spots are pretty deep, this phone either drops the call or the other party is not able to hear me. In the very same spots the Razr and the Focus used to work just great. And there are 3 bars displaying so it does not appear to be the signal issue. It has dropped calls even while I am at my home.
This is unbelievable for a phone that is so advanced. Is anybody else having this issue? I know AT&T is notorious of dropping calls, but not in my area. I haven't experienced any such issue until I got this phone. So it has to be the phone. The question is, if it is a design issue or it is a bad unit.
Please let me know.
Thanks.
