I came across this article today in my Google News feed saying that if your Android Wear watch (the author was using a Huawei Watch, awesome!) was laggy and slow to respond, turning off OK Google detection instantly speeds it up.

It works. I just tried it on my watch and it's almost as fast as it was when brand new. Many in the comments are claiming better battery life after switching off OK Google, also. I was getting pretty good battery life already so we'll see if I notice a difference there.

Here's the link to the article if you're interested:

Tip: Disabling "Ok Google" detection on Android Wear could fix your smartwatch's stuttering and lag

I don't have to turn off the "OK Google" because it doesn't work. I have my Huawei watch paired with iphone 8 plus and, though , it worked with the iPhone 7, now it doesn't. Reboot didn't fix it

That's strange. I really don't have any experience with the iPhone past the iPhone 5. Sorry, I don't really know how to help.
