That all of the other Galaxy S phones have been announced with dates scheduled to launch 30 days or less from now? But the Epic no dates or even a hint - is it due to the slider maybe? I'd rather not have the slider BUT it seems to be not any more bulky then the EVO...

I haven't seen any announcement of a release date for the Verizon Fascinate. Do you have a good source?

Supposedly, they announced it was early August, but I don't remember where the source was from.

No VZW date that I have found and I'm guessing the keyboard and new 4G radio are adding to the development/testing time.

I think the delay has to do with an agreement that Sprint has with HTC having the 1st 4G phone for a certain amount of time. Once that window they've agreed upon has expired, Epic will be greenlit and full press will ensue. No I have no source nor am I trying to state this as FACT - but many industries operate in this manner with competing products.

Before Labor Day is probably a safe bet.
