Isn't ok Google and s voice basically the same thing?

Seems like they perform the same function. What's the difference? Do you guys use either? I've always thought only apple people talk to their phones.

But for me the primary difference is integration with Google Now - if you're using the cards and such from that, then using it to search is the best way to increase the quantity and quality of the content you get pushed to you.

The guy doing the comparison isn't the brightest and clearly doesn't understand how either device or the apps on each work, but the devices still do their part to show off how they handle stuff.

I didn't think of searching using vs as a key word, that's why I also threw in the bonus question. Do Android users talk to their phone? Blond moment. Thanks for your answer.

I do at home all the time, but not so much in public. Usually I'll ignore the hot-word and still speak the search question after pressing the button, but at home I use "Okay Google (now)", (I'm on Moto X) quite often.

That's cool. I'll try to utilize it from time to time. I'm very much a tactile type of person. I like to use my mind and body to do tasks in some form or manner.

I use it fairly often, it's just quicker than typing out the query. My 6yr old uses it all the time and thinks it's great when the answer is spoken to her.

Told Google now to remind me to go somewhere in ten minutes.... Fifteen minutes ago. Confirmed and it said reminder set. So already skeptical

Well I've tried to set five reminders a minute away. Five minutes etc and it says reminder set but doesn't go off. Go back to screen and it shows the time and reminder but it's already past due
