Issue creating a Work Profile on the S25

I have been trying to create a Work Profile using Microsoft Intune like I have done for all my previous Galaxy phones and refuses to create the profile with the message "Can't create Work Profile" and to contact IT or your support admin. I tried looking online and this appears to be an issue on the Samsung Community forum with Microsoft Intune and the S25. This is frustrating because I need this and now I have to carry two phones when I am moving about until this is fixed. Hopefully a fix comes out soon as the phone comes out in a few days and... isn't Microsoft a partner! Ugh - anyone else noticed this?

It's a security thing. You need your IT to allow you to do so, or give you the admin right to do it on your own.

As I mentioned, this is an issue for many folks:

I've done this on all my previous phones on my own - my company has a pamphlet on how to do it on your own - so they have always allowed this. My IT support has no idea why this is happening. I did it on my S24U, S23U, S22U, and every Galaxy phone I've had.

I was able to get work profile going just fine on my S25 ultra.

Creating the work profile was no issue for me, but getting access was a bit of a trick. It wouldn't let me access outlook or teams because it said device settings weren't in compliance. I assumed it was a work IT issue with not being ready for the new phone, but eventually found some options in the "company portal" app to install certificates and such. Right after I did that everything worked just fine.

Can you tell me if you used Smart Switch to move everything over? Even though it doesn't move the Work profile over, I read that some people who did NOT use Smart Switch was able to get at least the profile up? Weird. And you used Microsoft Intune? Thanks!

Yes I used smart switch and chose to move over everything, it took over an hour. But as you said nothing on the work profile is transferred.

Yes first step for getting the work profile for me is installing and using the intune app

I just want to close this out. Apparently Samsung and Microsoft patched something the eve of launch day and now it seems to be working at least in the US. I think UK was still having issues last night, but probably just because it's rolling out. (This is from the Samsung Community Forums). This thread can be closed.
