Issue With Auxiliary Line

Sorry if it has been posted before.

Weird issue.

When I connect my Pixel XL to the auxiliary line in my car I get a feedback sound. Like if it was being transmitted via FM. A hissing sound.

But I do the same thing with my old Nexus 6P and no issue.

I put on earbuds and headphones on the Pixel and NO issues at all. Clear sound. No hissing.

Anyone have thoughts as to why when connecting my Pixel XL to the auxiliary line I get a hissing sound, but not with my headphones?

I'm stumped.

Try a different cable. Sounds dumb, but that solves it 99% of the time.

That's one of the first things I did. Didn't work. Stumped.
