Issue with Dark Scenes

I have had my S6 for a few weeks now. When watching movies, either streaming or on the SD card, the screen has trouble with dark scenes, especially black transitions. They get digitized and blocky with lots of noise. I have tried a few different apps. This did not happen on my Tab S 10.5 with the same source material. Anyone else see this?

They're both SuperAMOLED screens, the only difference is that the S6 has almost twice the dot density, so the "effects" may have been there with the tablet, you just couldn't see them. Or the much weaker CPU in the tablet wasn't fast enough to show them.

Just guesses.
