Issue with HTC News (Engadget) widget

Hoping someone here can help. I'm having an issue with the "large" version of the HTC news widget specifically when I select "Engadget". The widget loads fine but when I click on one of the Engadget stories to view the full article, nothing happens at all. You can see the article title flash showing that the device is registering my tap but then nothing. Before I was having this issue, when I clicked on the story, it would let me view the full article. If I use the same widget but this time select something like CNN, Yahoo, BBC, etc, as the news source, no problem, I just click on one of the news stories in the widget and I can view it in full. Similarly, if I select the "small" HTC News widget with Engadget as the source, there are no issues with that. I simply click on the single article title that is displayed in the widget and then I can read it in full. Its only the combination of the "large" HTC News widget with Engadget that is giving me this issue. I have tried deleting the widget and re-adding it as well as rebooting the phone and the issue still persists. I have not installed any new software since the issue popped up and my phone is not rooted. Any help is appreciated.

Sometimes that happens if u have another launcher installed, I had the problem wk I took off the widget n dis it again n sometimes I leave it like that for a day n then it would start working but I haven't had the issue in a long time

Thanks for the reply Flip. Unfortunately, I am not running another launcher (just using stock Sense) so not sure what else it could be. Any help is appreciated.
