Issue with Snapchat

My wife just got her Note 8 and when she uses snapchat, the image is far more zoomed in on her face than on her previous phone and it's really bugging her.

Has anyone else noticed the same thing? Is there anyway to change that or is it just the nature of the front facing camera?

Yes I noticed the zoom issue coming from the LG v20 to the s8+.....and it looks to be the same with the note 8.....not sure if there's a way to change it....I just got used to it I guess

From what I can find online, it sounds like it's an issue with the aspect ratio of the screen and the phone running Snapchat in Full Screen mode. It ends up cropping the picture to fit.

I was just messing with my S7 and snapchat does the same on there as well, it's zooming into or cropping the image so it fits the screen aspect ratio. Never noticed before, I usually use the rear cam for snapchat as I'm not big on selfies.

That's not good. Let us know if you find any solution to this. Snapchat is usually bad w galaxy phones from my experience. Even reducing the picture quality -.- happend w my s7.
