Issues with Email Sync and Fetch after 2.2?

I'm having issues with my hotmail sync after the 2.2 upgrade and wondering if anyone else is having the same problems?

I've got my battery manager mode set to custom where my off-peak hours are set from 11:30 a.m. to 5:45 a.m. with data turned off after 45 minutes of non-use. During peak hours, the data is set to always on. The past two days I've had to manually get my hotmail to sync, when prior to the 2.2 upgrade, I never had this issue, it would just turn back on once data was restored. I also noticed that today when it fetched my hotmail, a few of the messages were from yesterday afternoon, which was well before any of the data had been turned off. Basically, what it looks like to me, is that my phone is not fetching at all (which is set to every 15 minutes).

I would love it if someone had any clue what is going on or how to get my hotmail back to the status quo. Thanks in advance.

is that supposed to be 11:30pm? the times you have listed there would have your off peak hours being most of the day.
