Not sure how many of you are aware there are two places to update apps on your Samsung devices, I am surprised with working in IT how many people don't know that Galaxy Apps also has apps that pertain to the Samsung apps on your device that are updated through there.

So after the recent OS update a couple of weeks ago now (I think) I got a notice in Galaxy Apps that I have to update my Samsung Gallery and by Bixby apps. I don't use Bixby much or any other talk system but its good to keep it updated as it may come in handy. Anyhow, after updating the apps, a minute or so later the all appear again to be updated. This turns into the viscous circle up endless updating.

I only use what I need and don't install crap on my phone. This can easily explain how I can still get a day or a day an half of battery life on my S8+ after owning it for year (it will be a year come April).

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,

Thanks,
your phone automatically came with Galaxy app store and the Google play store.

Did you read my post? Do you understand the English language? Your comment has nothing to do with with what I said. lol

Thanks,
I update Samsung apps regularly via their app. Never had this experience.

i definitely understand the English language. maybe i misread. I thought that you were saying that after you did an update you all of a sudden had two app stores. it was a simple misunderstanding and there's no reason for the way you replied at all.

You'll see badge icon that signals there are updates, so no, I don't think it's hidden. AT&T also pushes apps as they are my carrier. Nothing to do with IT.
You may have turned auto updates off for GPS, think a pkg disabled "is a must" to have a vanilla Android experience. Killing background apps can also be altered in the Developer Options as well.
