I'm trying to get a good deal on the 8.4" M3 with 4g. It's gorgeous and has far more features than my aging iPad Mini that I'm looking to replace. I love the fact you can actually make calls on it too and not just use the sim for data. When I get it I'll spam this forum so it will be far busier lol

Just kidding... I like updates too, but it works great with 7.0 I think that update fixed the only things I wanted.

Best tab ever just my opinion.
Cracks me up various reviews will always put the Galaxy S3 at the top and the Hauwai M3 never makes it into a review consideration.
Read the specs. Only the camera is better on the Galaxy S3, but who takes professional photos with a tablet.

Picked one up during the week to replace an aging Nexus 7 as waited as long as I could to see if Google would ever release a new small tablet. So far I'm really pleased with it, replaced the default launcher with the Google Now one & it's fairly close to what I had on the N7 albeit with a better screen, way better sound & much speedier. Just need to get a case for it now as it's a slippery thing compared to the N7.

As soon as I turned it on, it went off downloading updates & ended up on Nougat 7.0. Maybe it will even see Oreo, who knows.

Still have to agree with the sentiments here, this really is a superb tablet... Speed, sound and screen quality are just brilliant. I too was waiting for a new Nexus tablet to arrive but I'm soo pleased with my M3. I've got Oreo on my Nexus 6P phone and it'd be good to have it on the M3 however Nougat is working just fine so don't fix it if it ain't broke

The difference between Nougat and Oreo is minimal, it doesn't detract anything from a fine tablet

Again, that really doesn't matter. Knowing your product is getting support is

I'm looking at one of these. Haven't seen any hint of a newer device from Huawei so... I wouldn't buy it with the expectation of Oreo but maybe? My N7 2013 is quite long in the tooth now and really.... I haven't seen anything else in an Android tablet that interests me. Going to see if I can find a Black Friday/cyber Monday deal especially since my wife's N7 is also a slug....

This article stated Huawei M3 received the Oreo update. I haven't seen it yet in my M3. Anyone else received the update?
