I think OP is referring to the Calendar app icon showing the correct date on the homescreen. I recall an issue recently where the icon stopped showing the correct date.

Yeah that's why I was asking was it 3rd party with Samsung calendar

Ah, I see. This is the previous thread where the issue was discussed: https://forums.androidcentral.com/s...app-not-showing-current-date.html#post7118503. There, it was Nova Launcher with the Samsung Calendar icon. Not sure if that's what @dlcpa is using as well.
