Mine will get warm while I'm playing games but it's very mild...and its never gotten warmer than that, even while on the charger.

This phone doesn't get hot because the 3D NAND it uses is known for using low power .....no other android device has this type of NAND....also this is the one phone I can let sit with many apps open that doesn't drain my battery

I seriously don't think that 821 would be that much different. Google just threw that number out there to show that their own phone is different to sell the phone (Pixel) IMHO .....

Actually the 821 specifically has extra image processing power that the 820 doesn't. And the Pixel was built to take advantage of this, which is why the camera is so fast and HDR+ works so much faster as well.

That being said, if LG had put the 821 in the V20 that doesn't mean that LG would have taken advantage of that like Google did.
