In terms of RAM it will depend on what the chip and board can support. A lot of the more inexpensive CBs are most likely capped on memory. Storage on the other hand can be upgraded. You just need to get the right kind of keyed SSD (most likely mSATA) and do an OS backup in the Omni box.
