I need a new phone. At this point, I know an LTE phone is in my future, and the only thing I need to do is pick one. Easy, right? :) I don't particularly care about raw specs, but I would like to grab a phone with pretty strong support from users and a decent dev community. This is one of the reasons why the Moto Droid has lasted so long and why the DInc is so beloved by so many. So do you think the TBolt will have the support and love of the wonderful geeky masses, or will the Bionic and/or the Stealth steal HTC's Thunder?

HTC always has a strong dev community. Look at the evo.

I expect the same to happen with the thunderbolt.

HTC is much better at updates than Samsung, or even Motorola... and the DInc is an HTC phone, not a Motorola... I will wait for an HTC phone.

The development community always seams to rally around HTC devices. They are almost always rooted in the first week or so.

If you want community support the Thunderbolt will be your best bet.
