New to the whole droid / eris thing ... hell my last phone was a razor 2!

Anyhow, I get this phone and the sales lady tells me I have to create a gmail account to get apps - so I do.

For some reason, after two days of having the account, it locks me out!

So, I created ANOTHER gmail account, but when I click the icon for gmail, it goes back to the one that's locked and it keeps telling me that my password is invalid.

I've deleted and reset and cleared EVERYTHING, but still I can't get that message gone.

Last resort would be the factory reset, and I'm trying to avoid that!

Anyone got any suggestions? I've been on the net reading about it for the past 4 hours and everyone says,

MAIL > SETTINGS > DELETE ACCOUNT ..... BUT I can't get into the account to delete it. I just want it off my phone.

On the Droid you go to the app drawer; click settings; accounts and sync; select the account; then click remove account.
