So I just had a coworker come up to me with his Nexus S and asked me how to root it. After replying that he shouldn't have to root, being that it's a *Google* branded phone, he gave me the deer in the headlights stare. So I want and tried Titanium and to my astonishment, there was no access.
Maybe I'm wrong, but wasn't the original Nexus unlocked from the get go? I find it horribly absurd that once Sprint and Samsung got their hands in the cookie jar they locked it up! I'm just barely above nonplussed with my Epic after rooting and major tinkering with ROMs and apps to get it where I can stand it, but Google's own Nexus?
Guess I've been under a rock and I'm sure this has been hashed out here already, but damn, I had higher hopes...
