Exactly. It is perfectly fine to have a device that simply doesn't need an update once all the bugs are worked out. What more can you really expect from a watch? Now if Garmin would just fix their bug that keeps turning activity tracking on.
I spent a thousand words explaining why, my dude. Maybe this is a niche concern, but I know it's frustrating for folks to spend a ton on a running watch and then see a new model make it feel obsolete a year later, without the trade-in options you get with an Apple or Samsung watch. Promised updates would lessen the sting a bit for folks who aren't wealthy enough to just buy a new one every year or two. But if most folks aren't bothered by this, then that's a good thing!
