I don't think I can no longer recommend this phone. As of the past week I've had considerable battery drain, notification light it will not go off and overheating issues. I don't think that I will keep this phone much longer. However there doesn't seem to be many Android phones on the market that impress me. I just don't know what to do I gave this phone every chance if it wasn't for the great camera I probably would have already rid myself of it.

If still within your 14-days, definitely Verizon. Even if not, I might start with them anyhow. It would be quicker & easier if you could simply swap the device, for instance, vs mailing it to LG. If that fails, talk to LG.

Sorry to hear about your issues.

Yes. Definitely check with verizon. Even if you're within like 30 days, you can contact them and tell them the issues you're having. You shouldn't have to pay a dime to get a new phone if you just got it if it's a defective phone.

Yeah, try Verizon first. Going through LG will take weeks.

It's probably too late, as you've likely already decided to go to a new phone (a Moto G, as per your other posts), but:
  • notification light: check out the "Charging and Charged Notifications" portion of the Common Issues and Solutions sticky http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-g4/544443-common-issues-solutions.html
  • considerable battery drain: there are lots of good threads in that sticky to help you out there. The first thing to do is install something like GSam so that the people on this forum can help diagnose what's going on
  • overheating: same as with the battery drain; there's lots of help available on this forum... diagnose, ask for help, implement solutions, diagnose, etc.

I was in the same boat a while back but a factory reset took care of my issues.

Mind telling me what browser you use? And suggestions for others besides Chrome? I thought Chrome would be the best option for an Android phone.

I use CM Browser, nice and light, does everything I want. Look it up or YouTube it, decently rated browser, I think there was an article on AC about the top 5 recently.

Seems like people are having good luck with Chrome Beta also.
