My MXPE is going strong after 3 years, still has great battery life, and still looking and performing like new. It's been a great phone.
But after all the drug out hoopla about a trade war and prices possibly skyrocketing for many things including electronics, and specifically smartphones, I decided it was time to pick up a backup phone. So I did some hunting and found a brand new pixel for almost half price.
I always planned on making my next phone a Pixel, because even though I think the MXPE is one of the best phones I've ever owned, Lenovo has shown that supporting their phones with reasonable software and security updates after the sale is one of the last things on their priority lists.
I'll be keeping and using my MXPE for a long time to come..... but from now on my future phone purchases will be strictly Pixels.
