J7 receives but won't send email

[Android Central Question]

I have 2 email accounts gmail and work. Both receive messages fine on this phone, but won't send. The error message is that I need to be on a network. I am.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone, and which email app are you using? Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?
