Jawbone quietly revealed their Android app for the UP band. I installed on my Note 2 and everything works great. i am going to cancel my Fitbit Flex order since Fitbit cant weem to produce an actual release date. The Android app can be downloaded from Google Play and works with any of the new UP bands. it is compatible with most of the newer Android smartphones and they are listed on the Jawbone website.

I also sideloaded the app on my Galaxy Tab 8.9. Resolution is a little funky, but it works.

And now that Android 4.3 is out, "compatible" may be too generous a word. Many users on the Jawbone site are reporting a complete inability to sync. As for me, UP still works on my HTC One on 4.3, but syncing, and even just displaying information, is significantly delayed (it seems to freeze up).

My UP worked for about 6 months and then wouldn't take a charge anymore. I'll wait until something better comes along. I really wasn't that impressed when it did work.
