JB due on Vodafone on Monday

I have a friend who works for them, he is saying this should be the case as long as there's no network issues over the weekend.

global s3, UK. Ask me anything and ill reply even if its just an intelligent (or stupid) guess ;)

Yup.. Per Voda eForum:

"Great news, the Android 4.1 JellyBean update will be made available for Samsung Galaxy S3 handsets purchased from Vodafone on Monday.

The update will be a staggered release, meaning customers will be notified in batches that it’s available for over the air download over the course of several days.

If you choose to download it over the air, we’d recommend using WiFi as the file size is substantial.

Alternatively, if you’d like to update without waiting for the over the air prompt, connect your phone to your PC with Samsung Kies and you’ll be able to update once it’s available on Monday."

lol good luck guy's, this is what O2 told there customers to. The download should of happened on the 19th but there all still waiting.

Nice one wish Samsung would pull there finger out lol.
Can you keep an eye on your battery and let us know if there's any major difference in battery performance please.

Got the jellybean update on my Vodafone s3 today via Kies website. I use the phone on talkmobile network and was able to tether to my HP touchpad no problem until after the upgrade. Anyone the same?. Or got a solution?.

I would imagine, based on the d and the Unix naming convention its the GPS daemon... the service that runs to allow the GPS to interact with the phone

Already tried what was in link solved nothing.

Also I think it got to be jellybean related as I have not installed anything for weeks while running ics, it only started showing once jellybean was installed.

It is also showing on my wife's s3 after jellybean update.

Not sure if it's related but Google Now rinses the battery when polls your location to bring up the weather and traffic cards. This was obviously not there in ICS.

Google now was my first though to tell the truth but I have that turned off,
