Hey all, so I was running the 4.1 I/O developer preview on my GSM Galaxy Nexus, and I just flashed back to stock 4.0.4. While I miss Jelly Bean like crazy, the only positive of going back to ICS so far has been the better Google Music app, believe it or not. I can't help but feel that the Google Music app on Jelly Bean is subpar compared to the app on ICS.
It seemed a lot of simple features, such as "More by this Artist" were hidden under layers of menu in Jelly Bean in order to maintain the large size of the album art. These little tricks were useful, and also very easy to access on iTunes. Why would Google decide to make them more difficult to access? Something that really bothered me was when I'd click the artist name on the top left in jelly bean, it would highlight but nothing happened. There was more stuff that I'll add later as I think of it.
Trust me, I recognize full well that this is just a developer preview, and that the Google Music app has enough problems on it's own regardless of version (good luck trying to reorganize your tracks in a playlist!). But could this potentially be a sign of things to come from the Google Music app?
