Android 4.1.1 will be rolling out on September 12.

Wouldn't that be awesome?

If you want to stick it up Apple it would take some of the spot light away.

First, the OP says nothing of which device or devices this is for... Currently only the Nexus 7, GSM Galaxy Nexus and GSM Nexus S only have official Jelly Bean 4.1.x

Rollout has begun for updates to Jelly Bean for the Sprint Galaxy Nexus and Sprint Nexus S 4G as of yesterday 9/6/12.

I believe OP is referring to Apple's big 9/12 event where they are announcing some "amazing new device" (Apple has hinted the device may have something to do with the number 5).

OP is mentioning Samsung Galaxy S3 I believe. figured from his sig "Sent from my SGH-I747M" which is S3

and I agree the post was vague.

Ladies and Gents,

I am so sorry to miss lead you but it wasn't my intention.
What I really wanted to say is that it would be great if Samsung could get all the carriers to send out Jelly Bean on September 12 to take some of the buzz away from Apple iPhone 5 release.
If Apple new phone does not compare to the specs of the Galaxy S3 and Jelly Bean was to release on the same date, Samsung could get a huge boost in sales because I personally know about 20 family, friends and co workers who are waiting on Apple before they upgrade or buy their next phone.
We have already seen leaks for almost every carriers but yet everyone saying by the end of the month, why not fight fire with fire?

I hope everyone has forgive me.

Once again Android fan I'm sorry.
