i just got my S3 a little less than a week ago, has the 4.1.1 on it but i heard 4.2.1 has been out for a while but i still haven't gotten it, and i don't want to root it. anybody else not gotten it yet or am i looking at this wrong

It's not out for our phones yet.

ohhh, any timeline of when it will be? was reading somewhere that sprint where actually one of the first carriers to get it

Sprint was the first US carrier to get the gs3 and the first US carrier to get jellybean on the gs3. So we may very well be the first to get the 4.2 update. But any dates would be purely speculative.

Did you mean 4.1.2 (aka multi-window, page buddy, etc) or do you mean 4.2 (photosphere camera, etc.)? 4.2 wont be out for a WHILE, my guess is Spring. I'm hoping we get 4.1.2 by the end of February.

am guessing 4.1.2 will be next for me. still a long way for the 4.2.1. meaning all the 4.2.1 i have seen seeing are installed thru cynagen mod, don't know if i spelled that right. ah well
