JOb is paying $500 for me to get a phone, I cover the rest so 6T or 3XL?

I'll be looking at basically 129 for the 6T since I want the 8 gig 256 model or about 500 cash out of my own pocket for the Pixel 3XL. I'm coming from a s8, main issue is narrowness and a bit laggy now.

I do have a 128 gig sd card that I'll basically be losing out on.

I love wireless charging but honestly don't need it but I do want something a bit quicker and I'm beginning to realize the samsungs always get laggy a bit down the line, maybe I have too many apps IDK. I have about 107 apps installed...

So what do you think? Is the pixel worth the extra bread? Or just stick with the 6t?

Yeah I know do you think the software is worth the price difference? The call screen and the other features?

If camera quality is of top importance then Pixel's worth the extra money. Other features plus faster/more updates you really have to decide for yourself. Look at the opportunity cost - what other thing(s) could you get on your wish list with the saved almost $500? Or have ~$500 toward a replacement phone next year that will likely have 5G.

Personally, I don't care about cameras and I'm waiting for 5G. If I was in your situation I'd get the 6T 8/128 for a measly $79 out of pocket, give OP a try and save the rest toward buying either an OP7 or a Pixel 4 next year with 5G.

That's most likely what I'm gonna do. I can use it for a few years and wait for 5g to mature and bit and battery drainage gets better. I can sell the s8 for a few hundred and pick up this for cheap.

Don't really need the perfect camera especially for the high price tag. Don't wanna deal with Samsung again and the others are uncertain like HTC and LG.

I'd go for the 6T. The idea of paying twice as much for a phony with half the RAM and storage is comical to me, might as well buy a phone with a half eaten piece of fruit on the back at this rate...

Of course, you'll likely get different opinions if you ask this question in the pixel forum, in the end it comes down to what's important to you.

I'll miss wireless charging and the SD card but honestly I think the sd card is going bye bye in a few years. The 6t looks good, just left the t-mobile store.

I personally don't feel that the pixel 3 offers enough to justify the price this year. I think you get way more bang for you buck with the OP6T. Unless you really really really need the camera that the Pixel 3 offers and even then I don't know that it's $300 better, definitely not $500 as everything I've seen it looks like the camera is very solid on the 6T.

Yeah, I'm not touching the pixel.. I don't wanna mess with no 1000 dollar phones period.

I am debating a s9 Plus for probably about 600 with the samsung trade in program.... IDK...

I do prefer a front fingerprint sensor instead of the rear, I like to keep the phone on the table.
