July 2018 Security Update

My phone updated to the July security patch. I was not expecting that. It was a nice surprise.

This update completely screwed up my phone. Is there anyone else who is having problems?

Android Oreo 8.0 messed up my phone last month. This security patch has been fine for me. After any update, did you clear the system cache and reboot the phone? Sometimes that helps clear out minor glitches.

First thing I did. It worked sort of ok for about 2 hours, but within the last hour it will no longer update or install any apps, many apps just refuse to open, and some even force close although I never opened them. I tried almost everything I can think of, plus what I can find on the internet. I'm going to do a factory reset and see what happens. Luckily, nearly everything on my phone is backed up in the cloud.

I had zero issues with the July Security update.
